The Courtyard Barn offers a romantic, intimate barn venue for your civil ceremony, with lots of natural daylight and the stylish character of the exposed rafters in the ceiling. Underfloor heating beneath the flagstones and lots of sparkling candles on the windowsills and pillars ensure that it is cosy in the winter, while five glass double-doors offer plenty of natural light as they open out onto the patio for summer weddings. Our pallet wall gives you the freedom to add decorations and create your own dream backdrop too, we provide jam jars as standard.

Around 100 guests can be seated for civil ceremonies, with either a traditional lay-out of a long aisle or with the ceremony table set up in the middle of the room with rows of guests seated on either side. The barn can also act as a wet weather drinks area, either after a church wedding or a civil ceremony, and guests return here after their wedding breakfast for tea and coffee.

Later on, it is the cosy, quieter area for guests to chat in during the evening, as well as somewhere for everyone to enjoy any evening food - or perhaps even a fun casino or sweet shop!
